Take a behind the scenes look at the making of ODDKO’s award-winning “Disobey” music video helmed by director/motion designer Giovanni Bucci and produced by Void N’ Disorder.
The BTS video, which premiered via Consequence of Sound, beautifully showcases Void N’ Disorder’s passion for pushing creative boundaries. With a focus on highly stylized VFX-driven work, the studio is known for crafting high-end visuals that possess a distinct edge.
For director/motion designer Giovanni Bucci, who has collaborated with artists and brands ranging from Korn to Red Bull, making a video for his own band ODDKO’s song “Disobey,” together with his longtime partner, art director/motion designer Paola Rocchetti, was a new yet seamless experience. With “Disobey,” the duo delivered a striking visual feast which explores themes of Man vs. Machine, and Nature vs. Technology, and paints the Goddess Hekate as a 21st Century nightmare, ensnaring victims and bending them to her will.
After being awarded Best Metal Video and Best Horror Video with a Nomination for Visually Stunning at the LA Music Video Awards, “Disobey” was named a Telly Winner in Art Direction (Silver) and Music Video (Bronze), as well as being an official selection at other festivals worldwide, including the upcoming LA Fashion Film Festival.
