Emmy Award-winning LA-based post production company Therapy Studios brings Sunkist to the table in a new digital campaign created by global communications marketing agency Edelman. Rendered with beautiful visuals, the centerpiece film “We Were There” conveys the often-overlooked role that citrus plays in our everyday lives.
“This was Sunkist’s first big national campaign in a decade,” said Associate Creative Director Christopher Swanson. “That’s a long time. Which means a whole new crop of consumers for the brand to reintroduce itself to as a fresh citrus brand; and do it in an authentic way that reflects the real life moments our audience can relate with.”
Therapy had all hands on deck for the post on this project, complete editing, sound design, flame and color correction for the series of spots. Editor Doobie White, and Assistant Editor Shannon Albrink, pieced together a joyous montage – showing how Sunkist citrus slices, squeezes and zests its way into our lives. The simple yet profound moments are brought to life in each detailed shot.
Eddie Kim handled sound design and mix, while Flame Artist Wren Waters and Colorist Omar Inguanzo provided a cinematic polish and sunny palette to the campaign.
