The first trailer for ‘Springsteen and I,’ has been released! The fan-inspired film will debut on cinema screens worldwide on July 22nd 2013, in an ambitious, simultaneous global event.
Produced by Black Dog Films with Executive Producer Ridley Scott, ‘Springsteen and I’ is a collective filmmaking experience centering around the legendary musician and storyteller. “Life in a Day” helmer, director Bailie Walsh, introduces us to Springsteen’s most loyal listeners, sharing their personal reflections and remarkable stories about the ways in which the American rock and roll legend and his 40 years of music has shaped their lives. In addition to the diehard testimonials (including one fan who holds up a photo of Springsteen to teach her infant the word “Daddy”), the film includes live footage of his most beloved songs and unseen archives of seminal performances throughout his celebrated career. The result is a collective visual tapestry of the fan’s memories and experiences that portray the immense impact that The Boss has had on people from all walks of life.
