The Santa Monica-based crew has been producing branded content since 2001, and is welcoming 2013 with a revamped website that truly represents the artistic vision of their creative roster. The new homepage features sleek, oversized stills showcasing their recent commercial work for projects like Pepsi, the Boy Scouts and Columbia Sportswear.
The summer-camp-chic logo of a silhouetted figure with a walking stick and backpack completely translates Detour’s exploration-driven philosophy: “We don’t believe in your typical sense of creative longitude and latitude. We’re the kind of people that thrive off finding ourselves at a creative impasse. We simply reset the compass and move forward…or backwards, or sideways. Wherever our instinct and experience – and your creative vision – takes us.”
